ICRC humanitarian assistance for displaced people in Amran discussed
AMRAN, Sep. 28 (Saba)- Deputy Governor of Amran Saleh Abu Ojah discussed with the representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to the province fields of the mutual cooperation in offering assistance to displaced people in the province.
They discussed measures of starting the distribution for the food assistance
presented by the humanitarian organization to the displaced people in cooperation
with the branch
of the Yemen Red Crescent Society in al-Hamra zone of Khywan district, Amran province.
The deputy governor appreciated effort of the Red Cross in the province in
presenting assistance to the displaced people, which was estimated at 26,000
displaced people.
He also affirmed concern of the governorate to insure safety of workers in
humanitarian field.
