YOUNG AZERI CONDUCTOR WINS INTERNATIONAL CONTEST

Baku, September 29 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani young conductor, laureate of the International Contests Ayyub Guliyev took the first place at International Music Festival, held on September 20-26, in Craiova (Romania). The event was organized by Romanian Ministry of Culture, Craiova mayor’s office, Craiova State Opera Theater and Craiova Conductors Association.
32 conductors from 15 countries participated at the festival. Representatives of Spain Martinez Orts and Maria Cabalio (Spain) took the second place and Kazimir Damrjovski (Poland) took the third place.
The board of judges consisted of famous conductors and experts from France, Italy, Romania and Moldova.
