YEMEN, DONORS HOLD SANA'A MEETING



SANA'A, Sep. 29 (Saba) – A meeting was held here on Tuesday that gathered minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi and the ambassadors of the U.S., Britain, the Netherlands and Germany, and the UC representative in Sana'a.
The meeting, held under the 2006 London Donor Conference recommendations that call for holding regular meetings between the Yemeni government and donors, dealt with the bilateral ties between Yemen and donors, and ways to strengthen the efforts of relief agencies to reach the war-affected people in northern Yemen.

Al-Arhabi appreciated efforts the donors are making to help Yemen cope with humanitarian situation as the army is trying to
cleanse Saada and Amran provinces of the Houthi insurgents.

the meeting also tackled the latest developments relating to implementing the national reforms.

The ambassadors reiterated their countries' full support for the government's efforts to carry out comprehensive reforms, praising accomplishments over the past years.
