GCC approves Yemen's propose over inserting human rights concepts into curricula

RIYADH, Sep. 29 (Saba)-The executive council of the Arab education office for Gulf
Cooperation
Council (GCC) approved in its 68th round the Yemen propose presented to the round
over inserting concepts of human rights into the curriculums in the GCC states and
Yemen,
Deputy Minister of Education Abdullah al-Hamadi said.

The approval was based on Arab plan for human rights which has been approved by
Arab League, al-Hamadi, head of the Yemeni delegation in the round, said.
He said that the council asked the member countries to present experiences in
teaching human rights in their curricula to the office in order to prepare a
guidebook for
the GCC countries.
The council also discussed measures taken by the member countries to face swine flu
virus as the 2009-2010 study year would be started.
