YEMEN DENIES OXFAM EXPEL REPORTS
SANA'A, Sep. 30 (Saba) - Yemen has denied reports that it planned to expel the international aid group Oxfam, that surfaced amid continuous confrontations between the government forces and the Houthi rebels displacing more than 150.0000 people in the north.
The group earlier warned about a humanitarian crisi in Yemen as relief organizations were said unable to reach the affected in Saada and Amran.
In this regard, minister of Public Health and Population Abdul Karim Ras'a has said that Yemen welcomes any agency working in the field through providing aid for the affected, but warned Yemen may expel any agency or organization that makes unreliable statements.
Oxfam International is an international aid group working together and with partners and allies around the world to bring about lasting change.
It works directly with communities and seeks to influence the powerful to ensure that poor people can improve their lives and livelihoods and have a say in decisions that affect them.
