S. Korea to attend preparatory meeting for ASEAN plus three summit

SEOUL, Oct. 2 (Yonhap) -- South Korea will send a group of officials to
preparatory meetings for the 12th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)
plus three summit and the fourth East Asia summit, Seoul's foreign ministry said
Friday.

The high-level officials attending the meetings in Bangkok, Thailand next Friday
will review items on the agendas of the summits slated for late this month in
the Southeast Asian country, the ministry said.
