YEMEN HANDS DOWN DEATH SENTENCES TO 2 PAKISTANI DRUG DEALERS

SANA'A, Oct. 03 (Saba) - The Specialized Penal Court sentenced on Saturday two Pakistanis out of a group of 11 to death after convicting them along with two of the other group members of trafficking drugs into Yemen.

The two others were sentenced to 25 years in prison each.

The court, however, cleared seven Pakistanis of charges related to brining 600 kg of cannabis into Yemen from a Pakistani port.

The drugs were seized in June last year off Mukalla in southern Yemen.
