Yemen, Germany sign € 23 mln agreements

SANA'A, Oct.03 (Saba)- Three cooperation
agreements of € 23 million were signed here on Saturday between Yemen and German
government
represented by German Development Bank .

The agreement signed by Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation
Hisham Sharaf and the German Development Bank's Representative, stipulated that the
bank
will present € 23 million for contributing to financing health programs and projects
in the education sector.
Sharaf praised the German government's keenness on supporting the development
process in Yemen, noting the German Bank's contributions to supporting the
infrastructure and
services sectors.
He indicated the development witnessed by the bilateral cooperation between Yemen
and Germany which is one of the main donors to Yemen, affirming the relations
between the
two countries stand on promising bases of effective partnership.
