Minister of Finance meets finance ministers

Riyadh, October 05 , SPA -- Dr. Ibrahim Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, the
Minister of Finance met , on the sidelines of the annual meetings of
the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank in Istanbul,
Turkey today, with a number of ministers of finance including Dr.
Mohammed Shatah, Lebanese Finance minister; Shaukat Tarin, Pakistani
Finance minister; Turkish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of
economy, Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Sri Lankan finance minister; and
President of the International Fund for Agricultural Development
(IFAD) Kanayo F. Nwanze .

During the meetings, they discussed a number of financial and
economic issues of common concern.

The meetings were attended by Governor of Saudi Arabian
Monetary Agency, Dr. Mohammed Al-Jasser; Vice President and Managing
Director of Saudi Fund for Development Engineer Yousef Al-Bassam; and
Acting Undersecretary of Ministry of Finance for Economic Affairs Dr.
Sulaiman Al-Turki.
