Yemen, JICA study using clean energy in health sector

SANA'A, Oct.05 (Saba) - Deputy
Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Hisham Sharaf met here on Monday
with
the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)'s delegation currently visiting
Yemen.
The Japanese delegation's visit aims at studying using the clean energy in
Al-Wahdah Hospital in Aden governorate as a first typical project for supplying the
electrical
power to the health sector by using solar cells.
During the meeting, the two sides agreed upon a mechanism for implementing the
project and availing from the Japanese support aiming at using the clean energy.
It is worthy to mention that Yemen has been chosen by the Japanese government to
benefit from the finances allocated by the Japanese government to face the climate
changes.
