ARAB LEAGUE RENEWS SUPPORT YEMEN'S UNITY

SANA'A, Oct. 06 (Saba) - Arab League (AL) renewed on Tuesday its
position in support with Yemen's unity, security and stability.

During his meeting with President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the AL
Secretary General Amr Moussa said that the aim of his visit to Yemen
is to confirm the League supportive position to Yemen.

The meeting also discussed the current Arab developments, topped by
the situation in the Palestinian arena as well as in Iraq and
Somalia.

Moussa briefed President Saleh on the Arab League's steps and
efforts to activate the joint Arab action and to enhance Arab
solidarity under the current situations facing Arab nations.

He also praised Yemen's attitudes and its role in serving the
nations issues.

For his part, President Saleh hailed the Secretary-General's efforts
in supporting the joint Arab action.
