Cabinet discusses implementation of funded projects until mid of 2009

SANA'A, Oct.
06 (Saba)- In its weekly meeting, the cabinet discussed a report presented by the
ministry
of planning and international cooperation over implementation of the projects which
have been funded by the foreign grants and loans until December of 2008 and first
half
of current year.

According to the report, Yemen received assistance at $ 1.4 billion until end of
last year and $ 1.5 billion during the first half of 2009.
The report affirmed that the ministry continued its contact with donor bodies over
their financial pledges for funding suggested projects.
The cabinet asked the concerned government corporations to read the report and
present their comments in coming meeting.
