YEMEN, UK REVIEW LATEST DEVELOPMENTS IN SAADA



SANA'A, Oct. 07 (Saba) - Yemen and Britain reviewed on Wednesday the
latest developments in Saada province, where the destructive actions
done by the rebellion elements.

During their meeting held in Sana'a, Foreign Minister Abu Bakr
al-Qirbi discussed with Vice-Director of Middle East and North
Africa Office in the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO)
Frank Baker aspects of bilateral relations between the two friendly
countries.

Al-Qirbi and Baker also reviewed several regional issues of common
concern.

The Minister affirmed that the Saada war was forced on the
government, noting that it was imposed on as a result of al-Houthi
rebels' continuous sabotage actions against citizens and
governmental institutions in Saada.

Al-Qirbi expressed Yemen's appreciation for the UK's positions
towards the situations in the country and its keenness to support
Yemen's unity and stability.

For his part, the British official referred that Yemen has all right
to fight any armed groups operating outside the law and seek to
undermine the security and stability of the country, affirming his
country's keenness to promote its relations with Yemen in various
fields.
