Supplies seized on way for rebels

SAADA, Oct. 07 (Saba) - The police have seized 5
trucks carrying large quantities of fuel, explosives, drugs and gas cylinders that
were
on their way for the Houthi rebels in the north.
A police spokesman said they seized supplies included 350 bags of gunpowder and
drug pills that were hidden under fruits and vegetables in the trucks.
Meanwhile, the army is continuing fighting the insurgents in Saada and Amran,
killing and arresting rebels, retaking control of areas, and hunting those still
plotting.
The rebels have attacked the people and used them as human shields, the army says.
The confrontations between the army and the Houthi followers started in August and
were sparked by continuous violence and lawbreaking by the rebels.
