Samsung's monthly notebook LCD sales top 5 million

SEOUL, Oct. 11 (Yonhap) -- Samsung Electronics Co. of South Korea said Sunday
that its sales of liquid crystal display (LCD) panels for use in notebook
computers totaled 5.01 million units in September.
It was the first time ever that a single manufacturer's monthly LCD sales
exceeded the 5 million mark.
Samsung's monthly notebook LCD sales topped 4 million units in July.
