EXPORT OPERATION OF 1ST YEMENI LNG SHIPMENT TO START SOON

SANA'A, Oct.11 (Saba) - The new General Manager of Yemen LNG project
Francis Raven Announced on Sunday that exporting operation for the
first shipment of the Yemeni Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) via Balhaf
port is to start soon.

During his meeting with Prime Minister Ali Mujawar, the Yemen LNG's
new manager said that experimental works relevant to the export
operation are in the latest phases.

He added that it is supposed to start exporting the LNG after
finishing those works, expressing his appreciation for the
government's support and efforts in enhancing the success potentials
for the project.

For his part, Mujawar affirmed the strategic importance of the
project which is greatly backed up by the sate and its different
bodies.

He wished the new manger good luck and success in his duties
including finalizing the technical works related to the exporting
operation.

The meeting dealt with the current arrangements by the project's
administration to start the exporting operation via Balhaf port in
Shabwa province.
