Insurgency faces more losses as 59 more killed

SAADA, Oct. 12 (Saba) - 59 Houthi
insurgents have been killed including leaders as the army has started expanding
'land operations'
against the rebels in several Saada areas, a security source said.

The Houthis suffered big losses as many others were hurt and equipment and
positions destroyed, the source said.
On the other hand, the rebels abducted 7 educators in Saada and took them to an
unidentified location.
Hundreds of the insurgents, who have been fighting the army in Saada and Amran
since 2004, were killed, hurt and arrested this year as fresh confrontations
between the two
sides erupted in August.
The final week of September and first week of this month were the deadliest for the
rebels when more than 600 of them were killed and many others wounded and arrested.
Others
surrendered to the troops.
