SK Group's software unit plans share listing next month

SEOUL, Oct. 13 (Yonhap) -- The computer software subsidiary of South Korea's SK
Group said Tuesday it plans to list its shares on the country's main stock market
next month.

SK C&C Co. said its 15 million shares will be traded on the main bourse starting
Nov. 11, a week after the shares are sold to the investing public.
"The planned stock listing is expected to help boost management transparency and
credibility," Kim Shin-bae, vice chairman of SK C&C, told reporters.
The shares to be listed are currently held by mobile affiliate SK Telecom Co. and
trading company SK Networks Co.
SK C&C posted a net profit of 113 billion won (US$96.6 million) in the first half
of this year with operating profit reaching 53 billion won.
