UP TO 370 CASES OF DENGUE FEVER ANNOUNCED IN TAIZ

TAIZ, Oct. 13 (Saba) - Director of Epidemical Surveillance Murshed
Hasan in Taiz province said that the affirmed cases of Dengue Fever
(DF) reached 370 cases while 700 to 900 cases are still suspicious,
News Yemen Website has reported.

In the symposium, organized by al-Saeed Foundation for Science and
Culture, Hasan denied any death cases, indicating that there are
some statements from some hospitals on death due to Dengue Fever but
not confirmed yet scientifically.

Stagnant water, open-liquid containers and rainfall are the main
reason for spreading mosquitoes in Taiz. Severe headaches, rashes,
muscular pain, joint pain and even eye pain are the most symptoms of
the disease.
