Coastguard police captures more Africans in Hajjah
HAJHJAH, Oct.18 (Saba) - About
180 Africans from Chad, Sudanese and Nigerian nationals arrived in the coasts of
Midi Island
in Hajjah province by a smuggling boat, Coastguard police has told Interior Ministry.
Security services have arrested 26 Africans including a number of women and
children and others fled to the coast.
Police is chasing them at the coasts due to their illegal entrance to the Yemeni
territories, the coastguard police said adding that the smuggling boat, which
belongs to
a Yemeni citizen, was captured.
It is the fourth time the African nationals being smuggled to the coast Midi Island
with the aim of sneaking into the Saudi territories.
