Yemen, UNICEF attract Int'l community to help displaced people

SANA'A, Oct. 18
(Saba) - Yemen and UNICEF discussed here on Sunday efforts to attract the
international community's
attention for providing humanitarian aid to Sa'ada displaced people.

During their meeting, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Amat al-Razaq Humad and
the UNICEF Regional Goodwill Ambassador Mahmoud Kabil talked about several issues
relating
to child trafficking, child labour phenomena.
Humad and Kabil also reviewed the procedures taken by the government to address
these negative phenomena that affecting children and their rights.
The Minister noted that the efforts which the government carries out in that regard
need urgently support from different sides as well as from regional and
international
organizations.
She also pointed to the formation of a committee to address the phenomenon of
street children and tackle them.
