Air Busan set to offer overseas flight service next year

SEOUL, Oct. 20 (Yonhap) -- Air Busan Co., a South Korean budget carrier, said
Tuesday that it plans to provide regular flight service between Busan and
destinations in Japan early next year.
Air Busan, whose controlling stake is owned by Asiana Airlines Inc., plans to
launch the service between Busan and Fukuoka in March and Busan and Osaka in
April, the company said.
"We expect 1 billion won (US$857,000) in annual revenue from the new routes," Kim
Soo-cheon, president of Air Busan, said during a news conference.
