GOVT'S SPOKESMAN: ARMED FORCES TO END SAADA WAR SOON

SANA'A, Oct.20 (Saba) - Spokesman of the government, Minister of
Information Hassan al-Lawzi affirmed on Tuesday that the armed
forces are to put a decisive end for the rebellion war in northern
province of Saada.

"The armed forces move according to planned steps and the decisive
end for those clashes will come soon", al-Lawzi said in his weekly
press conference.

Approach of the definite end of Saada war become sure due to the
mechanism adopted by the armed forces through besieging the rebel
groups and cutting off their supplies and this absolutely would lead
to end the war without more losses, al-Lawzi made it clear.

He added that these clashes would take their time until seizing all
al-Houthi rebels and their leaders and bringing them before justice.

Al-Lawzi indicated the criminal acts carried out by the rebel and
sabotage gangs against the innocent citizens.

The hard geographical nature of Saada province, which includes over
4000 villages in 15 districts scattered in wide areas and mountains,
has made the army's movement and operations very difficult
especially in the areas of high population density, al-Lawzi pointed
out.

Regarding the visit of the Iranian Foreign Minister, al-Lawzi
affirmed that the visit was delayed and the state has many
activities related to the bilateral relations with Iran.

On the other hand, al-Lawzi emphasized the state's clinging to the
dialogue principle.
