Death sentences in Shabwa bus driver murder
SHABWA, Oct. 20 (Saba) - Two people have
been sentenced to death and another to three years in prison after they were
convicted
them in the murder of a bus driver in Yemen's southern Shabwa province, the Alsahwa
website reported.
The Primary Court in the Nusab area ruled Alawi Al-Qawza'e, 19, and Salim Dawood,
23, be killed and Ahmed Abdullah BuShams to be jailed after evidence the three
committed
the murder was clear.
On October 6, eyewitnesses said the body of Abdu Rabu Awadh, 32, was found with 7
stabs on it on road.
The murderers convinced the bus driver to take them for their destination and they
killed him while on the way.
They stole his property and took his bus and as they left the highway driving in
sand the tires of the bus sank.
The murderers then left the bus and the killed bloodstained and run away.
Their clothes on which police found blood were found at the crime scene.
