S. Korea, Vietnam hold forum on economic cooperation

SEOUL, Oct. 21 (Yonhap) -- Ranking policymakers, journalists and economic experts
of South Korea and Vietnam gathered to discuss ways to increase economic and
business cooperation between the two nations, Seoul's finance ministry said
Wednesday.

The forum titled "Sharing the Future with Korea," which was jointly organized by
governments of the two Asian countries, kicked off on Wednesday in Hanoi for a
two-day run, according to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance.
During the gathering, participants will exchange views on how to intensify
"strategic" economic cooperation, with Seoul seeking to share its experience in
achieving growth in the past decades, the ministry said.
The forum kicked off in line with summit talks held on the same day between their
leaders, where they agreed to upgrade relationship to a "strategic partnership."
