LIBYA REITERATES SUPPORT TO YEMEN STABILITY

TRIPOLI, Oct. 22 (Saba) - Libyan Leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi
reiterated on Thursday his country's support to Yemen's unity and
stability.

The announcement was made as Gaddafi met with Foreign Minister Abu
Bakr al-Qirbi who arrived in Libya early today on the final leg of
an Arab tour to deliver a verbal letter from President Ali Abdullah
Saleh to Gaddafi.

The letter dealt with the bilateral relationship between Yemen and
Libya as well as issues of mutual interest.

Al-Qirbi started Monday an Arab tour that included stops in Egypt,
Syria and Libya.

He conveyed Saleh letters to the leaders of the three Arab states
concerning the bilateral relationship with each country, the latest
developments in the region and issues of mutual interests.
