Panaji, Oct 23 (PTI) Goa police has filed a complaint
against right-wing group Sanatan Saunstha for allowing
foreigners to stay in their ashram at Ramnathi without filling
mandatory 'C' form.
Form C is a formality that needs to be completed by
foreigners, informing police about their stay and duration in
India.
Police filed suo motto complaint against Virendra
Marathe, trustee of Saunstha, on Thursday for allowing a
French couple alongwith their child to stay in the ashram
violating Foreigners Act, SP (North) Bosco George said here
Friday.
Sanatan Saunstha's ashram has come under police scanner
after the October 16 Margao blast, which claimed two lives.
Earlier, Goa Home Minister Ravi Naik had said that the
government will probe the foreign link of the ashram. He had
also said that there were many foreigners who visited the
ashram, but it had not kept any record of their visit. PTI RPS
