Envoy attends opening of Saudi-funded Bridge in Sri Lanka

Colombo, October 21, SPA -- Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa opened
yesterday in the presence of Saudi ambassador to Sri lanka Abdulaziz Al-jammaz the
Kelaniya Flyover at Dahiwala Junction, which is financed by the Saudi Fund for
Development.

Speaking on the occasion, the Sri Lankan President highlighted the existing
friendly relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka.

The 396-meter long flyover links two cities in north Sri Lanka. It is
the biggest flyover in the country.
