S. Korea, Romania agree to step up energy cooperation

By Lee Youkyung
SEOUL, Oct. 24 (Yonhap) -- South Korea and Romania have agreed to step up
collaboration in developing energy and other natural resources as well as
building energy infrastructure, South Korea's foreign ministry said Saturday.
The agreement was reached at a policy meeting between the two countries in Seoul
last week, the ministry said in a news release.
Romania has also agreed to consider removing visa requirements for South Korean
business people visiting the country in a bid to attract more investment, it
said.
Next year marks the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between
the two countries.
