World Bank provides further support to Sana'a city

SANA'A, Oct. 24 (Saba) - Capital
Mayor Abdul-Rahman al-Akwa'a held Saturday talks with Sustainable Development
Specialist
of World Bank Deepali Tewari on the ways of developing Sana'a city, urban support
and financing of infrastructure projects in Sana'a.
The talks dealt with strategic visions for re- qualifying of three urban areas,
accommodate urban expansion and increasing population, in addition to providing
training
programs for unemployment to establish micro enterprise to ensure their income.
Sana'a Mayor pointed out the importance of strengthening cooperation and having a
broad partnership with WB' s program to guarantee the training programs in business
management
for men and women .
Al-Akwa'a praised the support provided by WB for services and development projects
which aims at improvement of urban areas in Sana'a.
