Yemeni-Syrian-Jordanian maritime company arrangements reviewed

SANA'A, Oct. 25
(Saba) - Yemen and Syria discussed here on Sunday means of coordination to carry out
the understanding
memo of establishing a joint Yemeni-Syrian-Jordanian company for maritime transport
signed during the Yemeni-Syrian Supreme Joint Committee meeting held in Damascus in
June.

The meeting which gathered Transport Minister Khalid al-Wazir with the Syrian
ambassador to Yemen Abdul Ghafor Sabouni reviewed the implementation level of the
Transport
Ministry's part of the supreme committee's results, particularly the encouragement
of Yemeni-Syrian cooperation in areas of road and air transport.
The meeting also dealt with promoting cooperation in fields of transporting goods
between the two countries through land outlets in addition to discussing
difficulties facing
their flow.
The Minister affirmed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two
brotherly countries and developing them in different transport fields.
