REBEL HELD IN PRIVATE HOSPITAL IN SANA'A

SANA'A, Oct. 26 (Saba) - Police has arrested a rebel in a private
hospital in the capital Sana'a, where he was treated under a
pseudonym, the state-run 26sep.net reported on Monday.

Security sources said that the rebel Abdul Khaleq Rafa'an Haleman
was injured in clashes between his Houthi rebel group and citizens
in Jawf governorate, adding that he is now under police guard in the
hospital.

The army has launched on August 11th an offensive against the Houthi
rebels in Saada and Amran governorates. The offensive was triggered
by continuous rebel violence and lawbreaking.

The army has been battling the Houthi followers since 2004. The
government has offered several truces that were rejected by Houthi
rebels.
