Egyptian firm plans four factories in Yemen, ambassador
HODEIDA, Oct. 26 (Saba) - An
Egyptian firm plans to set up four investments in Yemen's port city of Aden
including
an electrical product factory and three other plants for energy, electricity and
petrol industries, Egypt's ambassador to Yemen said on Monday. The announcement was
made
as Moussa Awadh met with governor of Yemen's western province of Hodeida Salim
al-Jabali. The meeting dealt with the bilateral relationship between Yemen and
Egypt, with
a focus on the economic cooperation between them. The two states intend to declare a
technical committee over the next few days that would be in charge of monitoring the
trade volume between them as well as finding ways to increase the trade exchange. In
the next few days, the two countries' joint businessman council will also hold its
first
meeting to discuss mutual cooperation in the interest of both of them. FR
