GCC Interior Ministers start 28th Session 2 Muscat

Speaking on the occasion, Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz conveyed to the participants
of the meeting the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah
bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, and Second Deputy Premier Prince
Naif bin Abdulaziz.


He noted that Prince Naif was eager to participate in the meeting but due to his
presence abroad he was unable to attend the meeting.

Prince Ahmad highlighted the generous support extended to the gulf works by Sultan
Qaboos of Oman.

Prince Ahmad noted that the current changes and developments make it necessary to
enhance cooperation and coordination among the GCC member states.

He pointed out that the kingdom Saudi Arabia views any meeting held within the
framework of the GCC as a contributor to enhancing the GCC march.
