EU supportive position to Yemen's unity, stability appreciated
BRUSSELS, Oct. 28 (Saba) - Yemen has welcomed the official statement issued by the European Union (EU) Foreign Ministers , which affirmed the EU supportive position to Yemen's unity ,security and stability.
Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Abdul Karim al-Arhabi, who heads Yemeni
delegation participating in Yemeni-European Committee meeting held last Tuesday in
Brussels,
has voiced the Yemeni government's appreciation for the EU supportive position.
In the committee 1st session, al-Arhabi welcomed the EU's decision to strengthen
its diplomatic representation in Yemen to an embassy level, which reflects the
European
commitment to continue supporting development in Yemen and promote the political,
development and economic relations between Yemen and EU.
