Yemen, WwB talk future cooperation


SANA'A, Oct. 31 (Saba) - Minister of Social
Affairs and Labor Amat al-Razaq Humad held Saturday talks with Chairwomen of
Vienna-based Women
without Borders (WwB) Edit Schlaffer, who is visiting Yemen currently.
During the meeting, Schlaffer briefed Humad on the goals of Sister Against Violent
Extremism (SAVE), which is a first-of-its-kind initiative to encounter terrorism
and extremism.
It aims to establish a global network against violent extremism and create new
sisterhood for women-victims and survivors of terrorist attacks.
The talks dealt with the prospect future cooperation between Yemen and WwB
organization through identifying the high competence civil society organizations
worked in fields
of women rights and protection child from violence.
Humad welcomed the future cooperation between Yemen and Austria, representing by
SAVE, affirming to facilitate the WwB delegation's tasks in Yemen.
Women without Borders (WwB) is an International advocacy, research and lobbying
organization for women around the globe.
WwB supports women all over the world as they strive towards the inclusion and
participation of women in all levels of decision making processes, and to bring
their talents
and energies in to the public arena.
