OIC keen on deliver food aid for Sa`ada displaced people

SANA'A, Oct. 31 (Saba) -
Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) affirmed on Saturday its keenness to
deliver
the needed food and humanitarian aid for Sa'ada displaced people.
During his meeting with Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense Affairs and
Minister of Local Administration Rashad al-Alimi, OIC Secretary General Ekmeleddin
Ihsanoglu
the organization along with the cooperative authorities is ready to provide the aid,
particularly in fields of sanitation, safe water and medical services.
Ihsanoglu also said that the OIC delegation would pay a visit to the displaced
people camps to inspect their conditions as well as to prepare a detailed report of
the need.
The OIC official also praised the government's efforts in humanitarian area and in
delivering assistance for the Sa'ada displaced people.
For his part, al-Alimi saluted the efforts of the OIC, making clear that the
government is working on ensuring the provision of different services and aid for
the displaced.
