Ssangyong Motor's auto sales drop 35.4 pct in October

SEOUL, Nov. 2 (Yonhap) -- Ssangyong Motor Co., the South Korean carmaker under
bankruptcy protection, said Monday its auto sales dropped 35.4 percent in October
from a year ago.

Ssangyong sold 4,630 units last month with domestic sales falling 1.1 percent to
2,786 units and exports plunging 57.6 percent to 1,844 units, the company said in
a statement.
