Kia Motors auto sales rise 7.3 pct in October

SEOUL, Nov. 2 (Yonhap) -- Kia Motors Corp., South Korea's second-largest
carmaker, said Monday its auto sales climbed 7.3 percent in October from a year
earlier, helped by robust demand at home and overseas.

Kia sold 149,591 units last month, with domestic sales rising 7.2 percent to
36,017 units and overseas sales gaining 7.4 percent to 113,574 units, the company
said in a statement.
