DISPLACED STUDENTS' CONDITIONS IN AL-MERZAQ CAMP INSPECTED
HAJJAH, Nov.02 (Saba) - Deputy Education Minister Abdullah al-Hamedi
affirmed on Monday that Education Ministry gives special priority
for receiving all displaced students in the public education schools.
During his visit to al-Merzaq camp in Hajjah province accompanied by
Hajjah Governor Farid Mujawar, al-Hamedi was introduced to
conditions of the displaced students in the camp due to the
insurgency war in Saada province.
Al-Hamedi and Mujawar got acquainted with the equipments in the
camp's school which contains 1140 students including 700 students in
primary classes as well as providing students with school
requirements.
He indicated the necessity of exerting more efforts to teach those
children on the right concepts instead of the Houhti extremist
thoughts, noting that the ministry would supply all requirements for
the displaced students who come to the camp with their families.
The ministry prepared a mechanism to accept the students who do not
have school documentaries or lost it due to the Houthi sabotage acts
in Saada, Undersecretary Education Ministry for School Projects and
Supplies Sector Abdul Karim al-Gendari said.
