MARRAKECH, Nov.04 (Saba) - Deputy Foreign minister Mohyee al-Din al-Dhabi has met with the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the two discussed the bilateral relationship and means to develop it.
During the meeting that took place on the margins of the Future Forum being held in the Moroccan city of Marrakech, Clinton said the U.S. is keen to forge ties with Yemen.
Al-Dhabbi also met with Lewis Stephan from the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office. They talked about the bilateral relationship.
Lewis said he would pay a visit to Yemen early next year to discuss the best ways to strengthen mutual cooperation between Yemen and his country in various fields.
Britain reiterated on Tuesday full support for Yemen as Prime Minister Gordon Brown sent a letter to President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
Britain will continue to support the development in Yemen, Brown said, adding: We always back a stable and unified Yemen.
