‘AZERBAIJANI GOVERNMENT PURSUES WISE AND PERSPECTIVE POLICY TOWARDS NATIONAL MINORITIES’

Baku, November 6 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani government pursues wise and perspective policy towards national minorities, said Deputy CEO of “Russkiy Mir” Foundation, vice-president of Azerbaijan-Russia Friendship Society, former Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan Vasiliy Istratov.
Speaking on the Foundation`s activity, Istratov said “the aim of the Foundation is to popularize and support Russian language. And this policy is directed to not only ethnic Russians, but also to Russian-speaking peoples”.
According to him, Baku office of “Russkiy Mir” Foundation will support Russian language mass media.
