SANA'A, Nov. 06 (Saba) - Prime Minister Ali Muhammad Mujawar said on
Friday that the government is doing utmost efforts to develop
Yemen's business capital of Aden through improving its
infrastructure and amending investment legislation in an effort to
attract more capitals into the city.

Highlighting the Aden Investment Conference which will take place
next Wednesday under the theme: Aden….. Yemen's Gate to the World,
Mujawar affirmed the government is keen on contacting local and
foreign economic partners to present a no-longer closed Aden that
has been prepared to be an international trade hub.

Mujawar's remarks were given during an interview with the monthly
Investment Magazine.

Yemen sees the port city of Aden as an economic alternative for
declining oil, he said, adding activating the components of the Free
Trade Zone in it is one of the government's priorities.

Yemen is readying infrastructure at the industrial zone and the
Cabinet is working on proposed amendments to the investment
legislation to serve investors and tackle obstacles facing the flow
of capitals into Aden, Mujawar said.

All steps are aimed at improving Yemen's investment climate and
making it easy for businessmen to set up investments in the city, he
said.

Mujawar also highlighted the importance of the public-private sector
partnership, saying it is very essential and deemed the bridge of
development in Yemen.

There are duties and rights that each sector must have to establish
