Jordan Condemns Militants Infiltration into Saudi Border Area

Amman, November 07, SPA -- Jordan has condemned infiltration of militants into the
territory of Saudi Arabia in Jazan Region - its border with Yemen, killing and
wounding a number of Saudi military men.

Minister of State for Information and Communication and Official Spokesman of
Jordanian Government Dr. Nabil Al-Sharif stressed yesterday Jordan's support to
Saudi Arabia. The Spokesman rejected any infringement on Saudi Arabia's security
and its citizens' safety.

Dr Al-Sharif said, "Saudi Arabia has the right to defend its territories and
borders with all means as it forms the major pillar of Arab security.''
