AL ARHABI MEETS WB VICE PRESIDENT IN SANA'A

SANA'A, Nov. 07 (Saba)- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of
Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Kareem al Arhabi held a
meeting on Saturday with the World Bank Vice President for Middle
East and North Africa region, Shamshad Akhtar who is currently
visiting Yemen for first time.

During the meeting, al Arhabi welcomed the WB official, wishing
further progress in the cooperation between Yemen and the bank in
coming years to serve common interest of both sides.

They also discussed issues of common concern and future cooperation
between the two sides.

Al Arhabi reviewed achievement taken place in
the country in field of reforms, affirming important role of the
bank to support the development process in Yemen.
