Kuwaiti Ambassador expresses support for Saudi Arabia
Riyadh, November 07, SPA -- Sheikh Hamad bin Jabir Al Ali Al Sabah, the Kuwaiti
Ambassador to the Kingdom expressed the full Support of the State of Kuwait to its
neighboring Country of Saudi Arabia in the event of any aggression on Saudi
territory.
In a press statement, the Ambassador said that Kuwait will not tolerate abuse or
harm to any inch of the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
"The State of Kuwait and its citizens are ready to participate, even sacrifice to
defend the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people against any attack. Any attack on
the Kingdom's sovereignty is considered an attack on the sovereignty of Kuwait," he
added.
He said Kuwait also considered the killing of martyr Corporal Turki Al Qahtani, a
martyr of the State of Kuwait, noting the strong and historical synergy between the
two leaderships and their brotherly peoples.
"The State of Kuwait and people are standing side by side with Saudi Arabia's
leadership, government and people, in order to maintain the security, stability
and strike firmly those who have any temptations to attack the Kingdom's
territory," the Ambassador added.
He denounced the infiltrated insurgency across the border into Saudi Arabia in the
Jazan region which resulted into the death of a Saudi security guard and wounded
others.
He praised the wisdom and vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in dealing with this situation to ensure the safety
of the country and citizens in all its territory.
He also lauded the measures undertaken to protect the territory of the Kingdom,
secure its borders and protect its citizens and residents.
He stressed his confidence in the ability of the Saudi armed forces to protect its
borders from aggressors and teaching them a lesson that they will never and ever
forget.
The Ambassador wished speedy recovery for those who received injuries and expressed
optimism that they will return soon to their postings to defend Saudi Arabia.
