US following case related to Chicago arrests

Washington, Nov 7 (PTI) The US on Saturday said it is
following the case related to the arrests made by the FBI in
Chicago last month, which busted a Laskhar-e-Taiba plot of a
major terrorist attack in India.

"I know that our Ambassador (Tim Roemer) has briefed the
Government of India on the case, and we continue to follow the
case," State Department Spokesman Ian Kelly told reporters in
response to a question at his daily news briefing.
However, Kelly refused to divulge any further information
by stating that the issue is sub-judice.
"I'm not at liberty to divulge the details of the
interrogation. It's an ongoing legal case, and it really is up
to the Department of Justice to... that's really in their
purview.
But I do know that we have briefed the Government of
India on the broad parameters of the case," Kelly said. PTI
