Five railwaymen killed in train accident

New Delhi, Nov 7 (PTI) Five railwaymen, including an
officer, were run over by Delhi-bound Dehradun Janshatabdi
Express near Ghaziabad at around 11.30 am IST on Saturday.

Northern Railway sources said a railway inspection
officer and four gangmen were killed in the accident between
Ghaziabad and Shahibabad stations.
They said the accident occurred when the gangmen were at
work.
Further details are awaited.
The incident comes close on the heels of a similiar
mishap in which six gangmen were knocked down by a local train
near Palwal in Haryana. PTI SGI
