S. Korea beats Laos 6-0 in AFC U-19 championship qualifier

SEOUL, Nov. 8 (Yonhap) -- South Korea defeated Laos 6-0 in a qualifying match of
the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) under-19 championship held in Bangkok,
Thailand on Sunday.

Sunday's victory put South Korea at second place in Group E, which also includes
Thailand, Vietnam, Macau and Bangladesh, according to the AFC.
Korea beat Bangladesh 5-0 and Macau 5-1, but suffered a surprising 0-1 defeat by
Vietnam on Friday.
Korea will face Thailand on Wendesday in its last qualifying match for the AFC
championship.
