OMSC APPROVES DECEMBER'S CRUDE SALES



SANA'A, Nov. 08 (Saba)- Oil Marketing Supreme Committee (OMSC)
approved in its meeting held on Sunday sales of crude oil for
December 2009 period. The quantity is 4, 8 million barrel.

Presided over by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar, the committee approved
selling the whole available quantity of the crude oil which is
produced by Al-Masila oil field estimated at 2,4 million barrel.
The selling was conducted on the bases of the best offers submitted
by 15 competing companies.

The committee also approved the formal price of Mareb oil quantity
estimated at 2,4 million barrel for the same period on the bases of
best offers submitted by five companies.

Earlier, the committee had reviewed the technical committee's report
over procedural steps on December period's sales, companies' answers
and competing prices they presented whether over Masila oil or of
Mareb, and the process of studying the offers.

The report included also assessment of carrying out oil sales to
October and November's periods.
